B.A.R.K. was established in 2001 and their primay function is to rescue abused and/or abandoned dogs. B.A.R.K. is an all breed "no kill" rescue organization comprised soley of dedicated and experience volunteers. B.A.R.K. is a non-profit registered charity.

B.A.R.K. does some amazing rescue work. Immediately following Hurricane Katrina B.A.R.K. volunteers drove down to Louisiana in a caravan and rescued several dogs left abandoned and homeless. A good friend of mine adopted one of these dogs and "Bambie" immediately won over their hearts and mine.

Having shared my home with rescued dogs for most of my life, I can't begin to tell you the love and loyalty these dogs give back.
